The Denver Foundation is committed to helping our community navigate the COVID-19 crisis. Since mid-March, we have deployed nearly a half-a-million dollars through our Critical Needs Fund to organizations that serve the basic needs of communities in Metro Denver and across Colorado.
Now, we are pleased to invite nonprofit organizations from Metro Denver and across Colorado to apply for funding through the Critical Needs Fund. The Denver Foundation will distribute $500,000 from the Critical Needs Fund to organizations that are helping communities respond to COVID-19.
Who Should Apply
We will prioritize organizations whose missions align with The Denver Foundation’s core focus areas:
Basic Human Needs
Leadership & Equity
We will prioritize groups that have lost resources due to COVID-19, and/or those that do not anticipate relief funding from other sources, such as the state or federal government.
We welcome applications from organizations that serve those who are especially vulnerable to the economic and health impacts of COVID-19. We recognize that many populations are vulnerable to the far-reaching impact of COVID-19 and encourage you to share with us the many different types of populations you serve.
The Denver Foundation greatly values the assets and contributions of residents and community members. We strongly encourage applicants to develop proposals in partnership with those they serve, and to collaborate and partner with other organizations and networks.
Applications are due at 5 p.m. MST on Wednesday, April 15.
